Harvest Visit 2010

by Barry Chaiken

After extended discussions with vineyard and travel experts here in Mendoza, the Harvest 2010 visit to Chaiken Vineyards in Mendoza is set for the two weeks, March 20 through April 4, 2010. These dates increase the probabalility of visitors seeing the actual harvest in the vineyard, while offering you an opprotunity to meet with the Chaiken Vineyards staff and consultants.

Please register to be part of wine club.

The two week period is set to allow you the greatest flexibility for your visit.  We’ve already begun discussions with a concierge company who can help you arrange wine tours, cooking classes, rafting, fly fishing, rock climbing, asado, hiking, tango lessons, and of course great lunches and dinners. Over the next few months we’ll put together more details and share them with you. You can then contact the concierage company who can organize your visit.

If there are specific questions you have, please send them to us. We can advise you on the best way to get to Mendoza as well as other parts of Argentina you might want to visit (e.g., Patagonia).

We can also suggest accomodation options ranging from the Hotel Villaggio ( a boutique hotel where we stay) to the 5-star Mendoza Park Hyatt.

We are very much looking forward to sharing this adventure with you all.
